why cant we play volleyball?

"why cant we play volleyball at a real place? why is it that we are always stock in this four pillared room wherein it can only give a shade and not a real athletic place? and why aren't we using the oval there?"

this was the common questions that arose a while ago in our P.E. class. we were having this volleyball lesson and volleying balls, but all that we can do is to control the ball from getting to high or to avoid from making it to the windows and assume that we are in this grandeur, wide area specified for our class. somehow, we felt dishearten about our fortune at this school.

"ganito ba talaga sa Makati?"

it has been a long time since the oval located at the center of our University has been constructed. it cost a lot of hardships of every construction worker. and for sure with the same or doubled amount cost for its budget.

a real and good place for our athletes to practice their sports. a fine area wherein it could accommodate a lot of students, as well as teachers who might feel to run, to walk, or anything people could do for recreations. unfortunately, this simple things are not so possible.

there was this rule that this Oval was intended only for a highly sophisticated game and event. for that matter, we as "commoners" will be having no privilege to use this area. even faculty teachers have to secure a letter for them to enter this "gallant and highly cost" oval. which sometimes are even decline and they end up practicing their team in any available area, most commonly outside the school. how drastic is that?

and so, students here at our University are always asking, sometimes complaining, for to what it is built for?

for students use? or only for the sake of the name and prestige?

i guess, we have to use a jack-stone ball for us to learn volleyball without concerning too much at the given place...
